How to Maximize EasyPrep’s Features

EasyPrep was built using intuitive designs, features and functions to make preparation super easy for professionals. This article sheds light on key features like topic focus, flagging, reviews, performance chart etc. on EasyPrep that will help you achieve your goal in the most efficient way possible.

It is important to highlight our business model before going into the details about our amazing features. We have two main pricing models;

1. Monthly Subscription per Course: Pick a course you are interested in and subscribe to the course for one or more months. This model works for exams with multiple choice format which is marked and scored by a computer.
2. Pay per Submission: This model is used only when the exam format requires a human review for marking and scoring. For example, IELTS writing and listening tests. In this model, you pay per submission.

Exam simulator environment

The exam simulator environment allows you to flag questions for later review and highlights skipped questions so you can easily go back to them. This environment has three (3) modes;

1. Practice mode: Great if you are a beginner; practice mode will help you get a feel of the questions and practice at your own pace. The sessions are not timed, questions are graded during the session, and answers, explanations and number of correct answers are displayed during the session. In practice mode, you can submit without answering all the questions because you are graded based on the number of attempted questions.
2. Exam mode: Works best if you have gotten a hang of the exam’s knowledge areas; exam mode simulates the exact exam environment. The sessions are timed and your score is displayed after each session. In exam mode, you will be graded on all questions (attempted or not).
3. Speed-test mode (coming soon): Tests your ability to complete the session when given a set time per question, speed mode helps you master the knowledge areas and is also a great confidence booster. In speed-test mode, each question is timed and you will be moved to the next question whether you have answered the question or not and you cannot go back once you move on from a question.

Results Page

After each session, a result page is always displayed with a breakdown of your score per subject area in the course. This highlights your strengths and weaknesses in the course, a critical feedback that leads to one of the best features on EasyPrep; Topic Focus.

Topic Focus is a powerful feature with which you instruct the platform to feed you questions from specific subject area(s) to help improve your overall performance.

Performance Chart

The chart and analytics on this page helps you compare your current performance with your previous performances and the performance of other users on EasyPrep. The most important information on this page are;

1. Your Performance Line: A trend line showing your performance scores over time.
2. Your Average Score: The platform computes your average score in order to contextualize your score per session; ‘am I improving or declining?’
3. Global Average Score: The platform computes the average score of every EasyPrep user for each course. This is very important as it puts your average score in context.
